Shroud of the Avatar: Less Than A Day Left!

As some of you may have noticed on our forums, Portalarium’s communications guru, David Swofford, left a message for us:

Hear ye, hear ye! Shroud of the Avatar is now inside the final 24 hours of its Kickstarter campaign. If you haven’t backed this fantasy RPG product from Richard Garriott, you still have time at http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/portalarium/shroud-of-the-avatar-forsaken-virtues-0. If you want to back, but not via Kickstarter, you can also use the PayPal payment service at www.ShroudoftheAvatar.com. We continue to add new bonus options to Shroud of the Avatar and there are many ways to pledge so please link to either site, back and get involved in the development of Richard Garriott’s new fantasy RPG. The Kickstarter closes at 10 a.m. Central time (in Texas), Sunday April 7.

Portalarium have posted two updates to the Shroud of the Avatar Kickstarter page this evening, announcing still yet more rewards, as well as new concept art and videos of Richard Garriott chatting with Chris Roberts and Starr Long.

By the way…if you pledged $50 or more, check out what’s coming your way:

NEW: Digital download, high quality scanned images of Richard “Lord British” Garriott’s, original typewritten, high school English class essay of “The Story of Mondain in the World of Sosaria”. This is the original story that was the foundation of Richard’s Ultima games.

NEW: Digital download, high quality scanned images of Richard “Lord British” Garriott’s, original handwritten notes for the “Akallabeth!” (yes, the original spelling included two “L’s” in the title) Dungeons & Dragons campaign he designed as a teenager, and that became the foundation of his first commercial RPG, “Akalabeth.”

NEW: Special in-game item designed by Chris Roberts, available only to backers, uniquely identifiable as a Star Citizen artifact! (What could it be? A special weapon? A special crafting tool? Whatever it is, you can bet it’s going to be useful!)

Have you pledged yet? You might want to. (And remember: PayPal is accepted at the Shroud of the Avatar website!)
