Shroud of the Avatar Kickstarter Update: New Reward Tiers, Crystal Swords!
In yet another update to the Shroud of the Avatar Kickstarter page, Portalarium have announced a couple of new reward tiers for last-minute pledge-makers:
$120 (EXPLORER-ALL DIGITAL)– Explorer-All Digital level is a brand new tier!
- NEW: In addition to Episodes 1, 2, and 3, you will receive DRM-free, digital download versions of the finalTWO, full-length, standalone games, Shroud of the Avatar Episode 4 and Episode 5 (including Beta access to Episodes 4 & 5)!
- NEW: You will receive the new world map as a digital, uniquely framed, in-game decoration for your house.
- NEW: Your in-game avatar will receive the honorific title of “Explorer” to be proudly displayed for all to see (title visibility controlled by player).
- Also includes Virtual Collector Level Rewards
And:
$750 Tier (KNIGHT)- Knight level is a brand new tier!
- NEW: Available only to backers, be the envy of the neighborhood with your upscale Knight’s home!
- NEW: Your very own, unique, Founder’s house servant, appropriate to your stature as a Knight! (dependent upon reaching $1.8 M stretch goal)
- NEW: One Expert level crafting station for your home, uniquely identifiable as a Founder’s crafting station.
- NEW: A unique piece of furniture, fit for a Knight, identifiable as a Founder’s piece, as a digital, in-game decoration for your house (What could it be? A Knight’s Round Table, perchance?)
- Also includes Citizen Level Rewards
Additionally, for those pledging at the $60 level or above, there’s also this:
Kill almost any enemy you encounter with a single blow using your Crystal Sword! The Crystal Sword, uniquely identifiable as a Founder’s sword, shatters after a single use. (Let it be known that Lord British is impervious to the Crystal Sword)
Is he? Is he? You’ll have to hit him with it to find out, I suppose. And a Crystal Sword, a single-use glassy weapon that can kill most foes in one hit…that sounds rather familiar, doesn’t it?
