Partial Transcript of the Third Shroud of the Avatar UStream Session

Mitchell Hamilton has posted the first part of his transcript of the third UStream chat held during the Shroud of the Avatar Kickstarter campaign. The transcript covers from the beginning of the session up to the 21:02 mark.

The discussion in this transcript covers a variety of topics, as usual, including player-owned towns, whether Lord British will be married in-game (again!), the “Glinkie Letters”, the game’s dual-scale map, whether Shroud of the Avatar will feature perma-death (likely not), whether the game will have Brazillian servers (not in the sense the question asker likely meant, since the game won’t be an MMO), how other players will be perceived in the game, and the Developer Chat forum (which has yet to be set up).

Oh, and right at the end of the transcript, the question of a party of NPC companions in the single-player side of the game comes up, but it would seem we’ll have to wait until Mitchell’s next posting to read what the answer was.
